Who we are

Practical solutions, silly imagery

Hey, I'm Jordan. I love my dog, anime and chatting nonsense.

Fit For Life is pretty straight forward - I teach an inclusive, client centered approach to lifting & life.

Our personal lives and inseparable from our health and wealth so we have to factor in YOUR situation - whether you got 5 kids, 5 dogs or 5 different health concerns, how you approach your life has to be individualised.

Lucky for us the core concepts remain simple if challenging.

Here’s a brief outline of what I teach below and what problems we try to solve here at Fit For Life.

Stress Management & Overwhelm - Life is busy and never seems to stop. Our community helps support you through the rougher moods we can get ourselves in and we teach you skills to manage and overcome the urge to throw yourself under the duvet and overeat.

Whilst also acknowledging sometimes ya need a wee night of being a gremlin to have balance.

Gym Confidence and Imposter Syndrome - Everyone feels like a fraud in the gym except for gym bros without the two brain cells needed to create that thought.

What you need to learn to do is manage that fear, and turn it into a productive outlet.

We teach you the basics that you can take to any gym in the world - how to load/unload a bar, how to get those tricky clips on/off and how to create a challenging workout that won’t wear ya down.

A safe space to fail upwards - I want you to fail. Not out of a sadistic streak, though some will argue otherwise, but because failure is growth.

I want you to feel safe to try new exercises, push yourself and fuck up.

Because in the aftermath of a fumble is where we learn how to grow.

Weight lifting and resistance training - how tos, tips & tricks

Nutrition - What are the main principles/"rules" of nutrition and how to apply them to your goals - be that weigh loss/gain, or muscle & strength improvements.

Mindset - An icky word but I cover self reflection and how our relationship with food, exercise and our body has a big impact on success or failure.

I like to use dumb images and strange scenarios to convey my ideas because fitness is boring for most people.

You won't remember to stay upright in the squat position but you will remember "hips opened, nips & knees forward always"

If you hated that example you probably won't like me and that’s fine, I don’t like fun either.

If you are up for that nonsense, fire your email somewhere down below and I'll fire you some free stuff - like a nutrient dense but delightful shopping list.
